I was blessed to be raised in a Christian home right here in Demotte/Wheatfield and grateful that I have been able to spend the entirety of my walk with Christ here at Immanuel. Through Christian education (Demotte Christian School), Sunday school, catechism, bible studies and wonderful Christian friends and family I have grown to have a deep love for Christ and his gospel.

Through time at Purdue University, outside of the Christian “bubble” I had spend so much time in, I found myself in an environment which lacked the typical community of believers that I become so used to. The Lord however used this time as an opportunity for me to put feet to my faith and search out Christian community. Graciously, I quickly found that in RUF (Reformed University Fellowship) where I was able to continue growing in my faith surrounded by like-minded believers and on the campus abroad.

I currently have the privilege to serve as a deacon and treasurer here at Immanuel along with teaching catechism and serving as a counselor in our CADETS program for young boys. Outside of the church I enjoy working with local farmers as an Agronomist and find myself spending my spare time fishing, hunting and gardening.
